Fans, Bands & the City of Hamtramck,
Thank you, thank you, thank you. The inaugural Hamtramck Music Festival was a huge success and it could not have happened without the encouragement, dedication and support of each and every one of you. The cooperation and collaboration from every single person and business involved demonstrates the passion that makes this City great and will continue to make this festival better every year.
To the bands, thank you for donating your art to this festival. It was an honor being able to showcase your talents and getting to witness your outstanding performances.
To the volunteers, thank you for donating your time. This festival truly could not have happened without your generosity and hard work.
To the venues, thank you for accepting us into your businesses and allowing us to turn them into our homes for one special weekend.
To the City of Hamtramck, especially the Hamtramck Police Department, thank you for your support towards ensuring the success and safety of this festival.
Most importantly, to the patrons, thank you for choosing to spend your hard-earned time and money with us for a few days. We are fortunate to have such devoted and enthusiastic fans. You truly make this whole operation go; this is your festival, not ours.
Thanks to all of your efforts, we are proud to announce that Ben's Encore will use 100% of the proceeds from the Hamtramck Music Festival towards providing opportunities to aspiring musicians and bringing music education to those who are otherwise without access in Detroit and its surrounding areas.
